The 6-hour flight from Sydney to Bali took us directly over the Australian outback which I was quite curious about.<\/p>\n

Taking off in Sydney – East Coast of Australia<\/strong><\/p>\n

I took this picture just seconds before we disappeared into the clouds:<\/p>\n

In some places it looked like a wind-swept desert:<\/p>\n

While in other places (close to Ayer’s Rock or Uluru) it looked almost like Mars:<\/p>\n

No, this is not the Caribbean, but the Australian desert!<\/p>\n
